Mark Allen is an associate attorney who has represented clients in numerous state and federal courts in both criminal and civil matters. Mr. Allen has significant experience researching and drafting motions, writs and appeals, and is committed to guiding clients through the rigors and complexities of the criminal justice system. Additionally, Mr. Allen has extensive experience representing students in all phases of disciplinary investigations and proceeding before university hearing panels and state court, including matters related to violations of Title IX. Prior to joining Werksman Jackson Hathaway & Quinn LLP, Mr. Allen worked at a civil litigation firm in Newport Beach, California. Mr. Allen received his J.D. from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles in 2013 where he served as the Managing Editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles International & Comparative Law Review. While in law school he served as a judicial extern to former Federal District Court Judge Margaret M. Morrow and former Federal Magistrate Judge Oswald Parada, both from the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, and as an extern for the United States Attorney’s Office.
